Friday was our dress up day to get our pirates and mermaids mini-topic off to an exciting start! We had a real pirate come to visit who showed us all his amazing props. There's was the practising of walking the plank, lots of pirate role-play and some singing of pirate songs too. The children (and parents of course!) all made a great effort with costumes and the staff didn't look bad either.
