Girls' gain cup victory

The girls' football team won the Jack Seymour trophy at Our Lady's Playing Fields, Abingdon yesterday.
The children played against Carswell, Stephen Freeman and St Swithun's in the group stages and won through to the semi finals after a penalty shoot out.
In the semi-finals they played All Saints and won 1-0 (Bonnie scored).
In the finals they played Carswell and won 2-0 - a penalty by Abi after a Carswell handball and another goal by Ella.
Ella was top goal scorer, Paige was amazing in defence and Lilly saved loads of goals. But a well done to EVERYONE for playing brilliantly.

A huge thanks again to Nicole who has coached the team this year. Thank you also to the supporters who came to watch and to Miss Hiddleston the newly converted fan of girls' football.
