A great start for the Y3/4 Tag Rugby team !!

The Year 3/4 Tag Rugby team took part in the Didcot & District Tag Rugby competition today along with 6 other schools from the area.
We started strong and fast with a 9-1 win over Willowcroft School, some excellent passing and tries from all!
The next game against Long Wittenham School was much tighter, with the scores staying very close for the whole match. But the team played some brilliant Rugby to win 5-4!
The two wins got us through to the finals against last years' winners - Hagbourne School.
A very tense game saw some great runs by both teams with the score staying very close. Hagbourne just managed to get a last try before the whistle to be winners.
So a very worthy second for the Ladygrove team in their first ever tournament!!
We look forward to starting a Tag Rugby Club in September.
