The strictly glitter ball comes to LPPS!

Before half term we were dazzled by Year 6 who demonstrated their dancing skills in their very own version of Strictly Come Dancing.

We were shown some joyous jives, wonderful waltzes, some seriously smooth social-foxtrots and some cheery cha-cha-chas.

Congratulations to our eventual champions, Jake and Romey, who beat off very stiff competition indeed! Some of the photo highlights are below (more photos will be available on the Year 6 blog)...

Well done to all who took part, and thank you to the dancers who took on more than 1 partner so that everyone who wanted to participate could!

Some extra-special thank-yous go to our judges who gave such fabulous (and witty) feedback to all the contestants, and to Mr Pointer and Mrs Manthorpe who gave up their time to come and share their considerable dancing talents with us.

Thankfully Mrs Carter and Miss Zebrowski weren't needed for demonstration too often - they both have 2 left feet!
