As part of our Christmas celebrations at the end of last term, both of our Reception classes had a collection and made shoe boxes for children not so well off as ourselves. This was part of the whole school project on 'Message at Christmas'.
We made lists of things we wanted to include, bought them, wrapped the box and made a card for the recipient.
Class 2 made a box for a boy and Class 3 made a box for a girl.
We found out last night that our boxes went to children in Moldova and the charity Samaritan's Purse shared this video with us. We are so pleased that we made other children so incredibly happy!
