Year 6 have been reading about 'Little Pele' in their Guided Reading sessions and learning all about life in Brazilian Favelas and how children who live there do not have all the 'UN Rights of a Child' met and how privileged our own lives are. In Forest School today, the children used clay to build a house that would belong in a Favela.
