Year 6 showed determination, resilience and a positive mindset this week through running a 5k for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), a charity close to many of our hearts. We raised money for their new cancer unit in particular. The children were outstanding role models and used their training from this term, putting their technique and stamina to the test. So many children encouraged each other to keep going, with everyone achieving so much more than they though they could. Some children ran even more! There were certainly some very tired people! The money we raised has not yet been finally counted so there will be an update!
The whole Year 6 team are so proud of each and every one of you. A huge well done!
