Teachers in China #2

Susie Stuart and Ruth Martin are nearly at the end of their stay at Yocai Primary School in Changsha, China. They sent us these pictures:

This is the main gate to the school with the school welcoming party wearing sashes. They stand by the gate each morning and greet people - they called "Good Morning Teachers" to us as we arrived.
This is the children in a Chinese class learning to write riddles and make little cards to put them on.  During the Festival of Lanterns, riddles are put onto the lanterns.
This is in the school canteen with children having lunch. Everyone either stays for lunch or goes home - no packed lunches.  Very delicious hot food served on metal trays. We also have breakfast in the same room - same steel trays but with dumplings, rice, noodles, buns.
